An executive health check differs from a traditional medical appointment in a number of ways.

It's a one-stop shop for cancer surveillance. We screen for the top 6 cancer killers of Australians and they are; lung, bowel, prostate, breast, lymphoma and melanoma, in that order), which are screened for on an annual basis at least. |

Risk factor reduction for coronary artery disease – 30-50% of Australians serviced in traditional medical practices do not achieve targets for blood pressure and cholesterol control, hence placing themselves at a much higher risk of coronary artery disease – when LDL (bad cholesterol) is reduced by 1 mmols per litre, the risk of future coronary artery disease reduces by 30%, hence the significance of achieving targets. |

Minimal waiting time– our patients are either seen on time or at most 15 minutes waiting time on busy days. |

Use of up-to-date technologies indicated e.g. coronary CT scanning on a needs basis to predict future events in higher risk patients. |

Basic expertise of cardiology, dermatology, urology for prostate cancer etc. offered in the one visit – whilst we cannot hope to match the knowledge of a specialist in one field, we certainly have sufficient knowledge and expertise to provide a reasonable in-depth assessment on your annual visit. |

Referral to only the best specialists that we personally have a professional relationship with and have screened for technical knowledge and practice style. |

Value for money – to see a Cardiologist and have a stress test would generally require two visits, a cost of between $400 – 600, a Urologist for a prostate check would cost a further $200 as would a Dermatologist and a referral to a General Physician to package it all together would generate another $200 charge. Putting this altogether, our fee pales in comparison to a comprehensive car service or an annual Foxtel subscription. |

Dramatically improve your chances of good health, with the hundred's of people that are seen here on an annual basis, over the past four years, there have been no deaths from coronary artery disease, no loss of heart muscle i.e. heart attacks, no incidence of significant bowel cancer, advanced prostate cancer or other cancers that we screen for.
