Note from the Medical Director

A “full body health check” is often searched for as reassurance — but there isn’t a single test that can cover everything. The value comes from a doctor-led review that matches the right tests to your risks, symptoms, and stage of life.

We focus on targeted screening with clinical interpretation, so you leave knowing what is normal, what needs monitoring, and what deserves action — without unnecessary testing.

What Does a Full Body Health Check Involve?

A full body health check is a structured, doctor-led review of risk and prevention — not a single scan that “covers everything”.

People look for a full body check because they want reassurance, early detection, and clarity on what to do next. The most useful approach combines medical history, examination, and targeted testing so results can be interpreted in context and turned into a prioritised plan.

At Executive Medicine, a full body health check is delivered through one of three comprehensive preventative health assessments. The right option depends on the depth of investigation you want, the areas you would like examined and whether you are establishing or updating your health baseline.

What we assess

  • Medical history and family risk factors
  • Physical examination and key measurements, including blood pressure
  • Comprehensive blood pathology covering common early risk trends
  • Urinalysis where appropriate
  • Body composition and functional measures that relate to long-term health and resilience
  • Cardiac screening and fitness-related markers where appropriate to assessment level
  • Screening discussions that reflect personal and family risk, including cancer screening where applicable

The outcome is clarity: what is reassuring, what needs monitoring, what requires action and what can safely be left alone. Where further investigation or specialist input is appropriate, Executive Medicine follows the additional investigations it orders and helps coordinate the next steps.

Before your appointment

You complete your medical-history information and undertake the requested pathology during the four days before your assessment, allowing available results to be considered during your doctor consultation.

During your assessment

Your appointment combines exercise physiology and physical-capacity measures with an in-depth doctor consultation, clinical examination and the testing included in your chosen assessment level.

After your assessment

You receive a personalised report, practical recommendations and appropriate follow-up for additional investigations ordered during the assessment. Returning clients can also track important measures from year to year.

Most people choose one of the following depending on depth: Foundational provides a comprehensive, doctor-led preventative assessment. Signature includes everything in Foundational, with more precise cardiorespiratory-fitness measurement and broader physiological testing. Foresight includes everything in Signature, with advanced genetic and dermatological investigations and on-site cardiac and abdominal ultrasound for the greatest depth of investigation. Frequently asked questions

How much does a full body health check cost?

Private assessment prices are $1,650 for Foundational, $2,150 for Signature and $4,250 for Foresight. Optional investigations may incur additional fees. Compare complete prices and inclusions.

What is included in a full body health check?

Every level combines medical and family history, pathology review, physical examination, exercise physiology, body-composition and physical-capacity measures, cardiovascular assessment, preventative screening, medical interpretation, a personalised report and appropriate follow-up. Additional testing varies by assessment level.

Is there a single test that checks for everything?

No. A meaningful full body health check is a doctor-led review with targeted testing matched to your risks, symptoms and stage of life. Its value comes from interpreting the findings together and establishing clear priorities.

Does a full body health check include an MRI or full body scan?

A full-body MRI is not a standard inclusion. Imaging is recommended when it is likely to add clinical value based on your history, risks or findings. Foresight includes on-site cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, while other imaging may be recommended separately when clinically appropriate.

How long does a full body health check take?

Foundational takes approximately 1.5–2 hours and Signature approximately 2.5–3 hours. The Executive Medicine component of Foresight takes approximately 3.5–4 hours, with a home-based genetic swab and separate dermatology appointment.

Can I have a full body health check if I feel well?

Yes. The assessments are designed for prevention, early detection and establishing a meaningful health baseline, including for people who do not have symptoms.
